Christmas and Easter
New Zealand is a western country based on Christian values. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in late December and his resurrection from death in March, each year, without fail.
This is traditional in New Zealand and we celebrate with national public holidays for both of these events.
It's got so pathetic in some places in Europe that 'Christmas Greetings' on christmas cards are being changed to 'Seasons Greetings' to appease the muslims, also 'Christmas lights' are lately being referred to as 'Winter lights', some shops don't put up pictures of Santa Claus because it 'insults the muslims'.
We in the west have no problem with their Ramadan celebrations, so who the hell are they to tell us what to do about our Jesus.
Islam is not compatible with our Christian background and doesn't fit in here at all, so shouldn't be here at all.
Its well known that Islam hates Christians as it often tells us directly to our faces with its 'Death to Westerners' rants in media that we've all seen, so it must not be allowed to settle in New Zealand.
